I was on my way out of town with a packed car and my dog. All of a sudden the car started making unpleasant rumblings, the water pressure dropped to zero, and steam rose from under the hood. I got out of traffic and pulled into a convenience store. I have OnStar, so they set up road service and contacted Covert Buick GMC because y'all are my "go to" dealership from previous repairs. Tom Fritz and all the wonderful women at the service counter were extremely helpful...they got all my paperwork together and got me a shuttle to Enterprise in no time flat. All this with the rain falling steadily. I continued on out of town, Tom stayed in contact and got me into the service garage as quickly as he could. They diagnosed the problem, a busted water pump, the part was on hand and they had me up and running at the same time I was coming back into town. Considering how much worse this situation could have been, I consider myself to be extremely fortunate that there was this great group of folks to help me navigate the circumstance. Thank you very much. Naturally, I have one minor complaint and that is that y'all had a great loaner policy in place a few years back and that seems to have fallen by the wayside.
