I got the deal I wanted but the manager, Steven Cuevas, pulled a scam on me that I didn’t appreciate. We negotiated window tint on my truck, I called my sales man and told him to upgrade to the better “ceramic” tint. I would pay the difference. I called around the Austin area and the price was pretty much the same with 4 different window tint places ($100 for regular & $150 for ceramic) I get to the signing and the numbers we agreed to didn’t match. I ask for the itemized bulling and I see I was charged $250 for window tint. I told Bryan the salesman I wasn’t paying the overinflated price and to adjust it to a reasonable amount as we had agreed for the ceramic upgrade, which would have been $50. Steven comes out and starts saying how he was bending over backwards for me and he has to make A margin on it. I said he was making a huge profit on the window tint and I didn’t appreciate it when he tried to scam me and not tell me about it. By the way, he just priced matched the Houston dealership Beck and Martens. I’m sure if they could sell at that price, covert could have as well. If I hadnt driven 5 hrs from McAllen, I would have walked out in the deal just out of principle But it was 8pm and I still needed to drive 5 hrs back home. Long story short, I will never buy another vehicle at Covert or recommend it to my friends and family. The shady way Steven Cuevas does business is no place I would recommend Others to go. I know you think one persons business might not break you, but I buy myself a new car or truck every other year. I’ll just drive the extra hour to Houston from McAllen and buy my cars there
